Natural Playgrounds

Natural playgrounds are more beneficial to the children in their active play and use of their imaginations. Our natural playground is evolving into a beautiful, peaceful place were children have natural elements to play on.

Running, climbing on real logs, hopping on tree stumps, playing music on wooden instruments, watering plants, and playing with sand and stones, all engage the child more than the traditional metal playground structure.

We believe exploring all the wonders of the natural world is healthier than being surrounded by pre-manufactured steel tubing, plastic elements and hot rubber fall zones.

We have begun the amazing process of designing and implementing our natural playscape.

“Let the child be free; encourage them; let them run outside when it is raining; let them remove there shoes when they find a puddle of water; and when the grass of the meadows is wet with dew, let them run on it and trample it with their wet feet; let them rest peacefully when a tree invites them to sleep beneath its shade; let them shout and laugh when the sun wakes them in the morning”
